The COVID-19 pandemic has killed more than 1.2 million Americans and more than 7 million worldwide. The 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic killed an estimated 675,000 Americans and 40-60 million globally. It’s not a question of if we will have another pandemic, but when. Will it be a virus yet unknown or a new stain of COVID or influenza? No one knows.
